THE SWIM

Distance: 1.2 miles
Type: Open Water Swim
The swim takes place at the wonderful Eton Dorney rowing centre, swimming a single continuous lap. Pre Race you'll make your way from transition to the start area a short walk away. Once everybody is suitably psyched up each wave will make their way into the water and begin their swim.

Water safety will be provided by Swim Safety with support kayakers and power boats ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable event.

THE BIKE ROUTE

Distance: 67 miles
Gain: 3400ft
Type: Open Road / Country Lanes
This scenic but challenging bike course takes us all the way from Windsor Castle to the foot of Ditchling Beacon.

On the way you'll take a scenic tour of Berkshire, Surrey and Sussex heading straight through the surrey hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty and challenging climbs.

The bike takes place as a relaxed sportive on open roads and in accordance with the rules of the road. Several feed/toilet stops will be provided along the route along with mechanical support.

THE RUN COURSE

Distance: 13.2 miles
Gain: 1292ft
Type: 90% trail / 10% road
To finish the event off we've got a fantastically scenic run heading from Hassocks over ditching beacon and down to the sea front at Brighton where your day out will finish.

The run route has a challenging start taking you up onto the South Downs Way, along Ditching Beacon and provides epic views over the surrounding countryside. You will then slowly descend through the countryside all the way down to the sea front. The run is around 90% trail along public rights of way and around 10% along road footpaths.
