THE COURSE

THE SWIM COURSE

Your race day will see your child start in the pool where they will swim snake style until they have completed the required number of lengths for their distance.

In a snake style swim the child will swim up and back down in the same lane before passing under the rope into the next lane. They will repeat this until they reach the ladder to exit the pool.

THE BIKE

Having completed the swim your child will exit the pool and go straight into transition. Here they will don their trainers, race number, bike helmet, anything else they need and grab their bike

Heading out of transition they will run to the mount line and get on their bike.

They will then complete between 1 & 3 laps of our bike course in order to complete the required distance. Once they have completed the distance they will head to the dismount line and back into transition.

THE RUN

Having completed the bike your child will return to transition, repack their bike and helmet and grab anything else they wish to take with them on the run.

Heading out onto the course they will complete between 1 & 3 laps passing the finish line each time in order to complete the required distance. Once they have completed the final lap it straight up the finish line to receive their medal.
